The Blueberry Treehouse Farm

Alexis Giordano is an environmental professional who enjoys participating in the literary world in her free time. Alexis has a Master of Science in Engineering Sustainability from the University at Buffalo and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from Alfred University. She often wrote freely and unapologetically throughout her teenage years, but her love of science and nature ultimately influenced her career path. After finishing her collegiate studies, Alexis reconnected with her love for literature, and hopes to blend her passion for nature and sustainability through her writing. When reading for leisure, Alexis tends to gravitate towards romance novels, women’s fiction, and climate fiction. When she’s not reading, Alexis is spending time with her dog, kayaking with her family, or tending to her houseplants.

The Blueberry Treehouse Farm

Autumn in the hills

A pizza and wine to share

Children laughing near

Music through the trees

Raindrops on the canopy

Oh, I love it here

The harvest has past,

The blueberries barren too

You and me, still bloom
